Where To Search For A Good Term Paper Example
Far from being a foolish thing to do, hunting out a good example of a term paper is perhaps one of the smartest moves that you will make in your academic career. Not only will having a proper example give you peace of mind, but it will also help you avoid the pitfalls that a lot of students make. However, as with everything in college there are some good examples and some bad examples. The last thing you want to do is muddy the waters and potentially jeopardize your grades by using a dud sample as your guide.
So, just where do you find a good term paper example?
The person setting the term paper
This really is the most logical place to start! Why wouldn’t you ask the person that had originally set the assignment for an example to work from? Really, they should have already given you one or at very least pointed the class in the right direction. If they haven’t, don’t be shy. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by asking.
The library
There are two different types of library that you can look for this information:
- Your university library
- Your local library
Your university library is guaranteed to have this information whereas a search of your local library may be more hit and miss. That will really depend upon how big the library is and the demand that they have for your speciality.
The internet
The internet contains a treasure trove of information and is most student’s tool of choice. It is easy to see why, given that you can access it 24/7 from anywhere that you want! Places to look online include but are not confined to:
- Google Scholar – This is a reputable source of information and is used by students across the planet. Clearly the examples on there can be accessed by everyone. However, as you are merely looking for guidance and structure then you shouldn’t encounter any difficulties as a result of using this source.
- Student forums – These are great on so many levels. Not only can you find practical information pertaining to your studies but you can also make some really good and enduring friendships. A word of caution, always be careful when handing out personal details. It is fine to give your email address but never give away anything else that could identify you.
